Med min kunskap, er fantasi och väl utvalda rastplatser tar jag er på en resa genom tid och rum. Kanske vill ni se vackra ruiner från järnbrukseran eller kyrkan där en seriemördande präst var verksam, eller det böljande landskapet på Baldersnäs halvö där en ferme ornée av internationell berömmelse växte fram under 1800-talet. Ni väljer tema och resmål, jag guidar och lämnar förslag på trevliga platser för fika och mat.

Under många år har jag varit bokförläggare av skön, fack- och barnlitteratur och flyttade för några år sedan till Dalsland, som jag besökt sedan barnsben. Det var här jag första gången upplevde vintergatan, plockade hjortron och såg en varg. Just det kan jag inte lova att ni får vara med om, men ni kommer veta mycket om Dalsland och platserna vi besökt när vi skiljs åt. With my knowledge, your fantasy and well chosen destinations, we will take a trip through both time and space. Maybe you wish to see some of the beautiful ruins preserved from Dalsland’s iron industry? Or perhaps visit the church of ‘Silbodal’, once the home of a 19th century priest and serial murderer. Or instead, enjoy the rolling landscape of ‘Baldersnäs’, where an internationally renowned ‘ferme ornée’ or ‘ornamental farm’ was created in the 19th century? Choose your destination and theme and I will be your guide, giving suggestions for ideal spots to take breaks and meals.

I have been working for many years as a publisher, releasing fiction, factual literature and children’s books. I moved to Dalsland a few years ago, having been visiting regularly since I was a child. I have always felt drawn here and have very unique memories attached to this place. It was here that I first gazed upon the milky way, picked cloudberries in the woods and where I first saw a wild wolf. I cannot promise to show you wolves, but I can promise to show you and share with you some of Dalsland’s most captivating landscapes and history. I can also promise that you will leave filled to the brim with facts about the places we visited. If you can read a little Swedish and want to get the most out of your visit, then I highly recommend reading Dick Harrison’s book ‘Dalslands Historia’ before your trip.

Mit meinem Wissen, Ihrer Fantasie und ausgewählten Plätzen nehme ich Sie mit auf eine Reise durch Zeit und Raum. Vielleicht möchten Sie wunderschöne Ruinen aus der Eisenhütten Zeit sehen, oder die Kirche, in der ein Priester mit Serienmorden tätig war, oder die hügelige Landschaft auf der Halbinsel Baldersnäs, in der im 19. Jahrhundert eine Ferme Ornée von internationalem Ruhm entstand. Sie wählen das Thema und das Ziel, ich führe sie und mache Vorschläge für schöne Pausen- und Essensplätze.

Viele Jahre war ich Herausgeber von Belletristik, Sachbüchern und Kinderliteratur und bin vor einigen Jahren nach Dalsland gezogen, das ich schon seit meiner Kindheit besucht habe. Hier habe ich zum ersten Mal die Milchstraße erlebt, Moltebeeren gepflückt und einen Wolf gesehen. Ich kann nicht versprechen, dass wir genau das erleben, aber Sie werden viel über das Dalsland und die Orte wissen, die wir besucht haben. Und wenn Sie schon vor der Reise eintauchen möchten, empfehle ich Dick Harrisons Buch Dalslands Historia (nur auf Schwedisch).
